    i know its not good for the septic either.i dump mine in the back yard cause i hate mowing grass lol.if i'm to lazy that day it goes down the drain though

    If you do large water changes every week or every two weeks it is best not to put it down the drain if you have a septic system. It will kill the bacteria that the tank uses to break down all of the organics that accumulate in the tank. I made a small drywell in my back yard that works great for the waste water. If you want instructions on how to build a good drywell just let me know.
