Its a risk, just keep an eye on him. Angels have the rap of nipping and eating corals, i personally would never add one to a reef tank, but just make sure hes well feed so he doesnt have a reason to nip/eat the corals. But just be careful as they do love the taste of corals :)

I would say you have a 50/50 chance. You just have to wait and see. Good luck

All comes down to chance. Personally never had an angel pick at my corals, that is probably luck. However all the best :)

Try and leave nori in the tank for grazing while the lights are on. From a lot of the threads I have been reading on dwarf angels nipping, they seem to mostly nip at the polyps on SPS. I added a coral beauty to my softie / LPS reef last week and all is well . . . so far. If all goes well a flame angel will follow.

There are very few angels that are considered reef safe, and a bicolor is not one of them.

Even if the angel is a good reef citizen for now, it may get a taste for them later.

Typically the Angels that are planktivores like swallowtail angels are reef safe, but most are not.
