Currently will be feeding my new watanabe angels a diet of mysis shrimp, spirulina flakes, veggie flakes and frozen veggie cubes, any suggestions if anything else is needed to supplement diet?

A good angelfish food containing sponge would really up its health and youd have one healthy angel :) Other then that sounds like your doing great. Some angles do occasionally like nori/seaweed as well.

i put seaweed in off the clip 2-3 times a week for my tangs so we'll see if he eats that, i'll keep an eye out for the food with sponge.

So far I've only seen it frozen, When I had my blueface angel, the one I had had a mixture of brine/sponge etc. Even my tangs would mow down on it when put in.
