Watchman goin' postal!

I have a pink spotted watchman goby that i've had for about 3 months. He is normally ver calm and just minds his own business. I came home a couple days ago and my tank was all stirred up. I looked over all my equipment thinking something was wrong and there wasn't. Then I looked and where he normally hangs out the sand was all pushed into piles and then I saw him just making sand storms later on. Today the tank is about 85% clear but he's still doing it some. I don't care too much if he does it from time to time but I like my nice crystal clear water. The corals are loving it though. They're feeding like crazy. And my skimmer is skimming like 5x what it normally does. Wonder why he is doing this. Any ideas?

 

I really don't know why, he could be defending his territory or just pissed at you, who knows.

I had a diamond goby that I saw doing that one time. Tasmanian devil-esque behavior, it only lasted a couple minutes tho. I never knew why :-\

 

Well, he has calmed down again. And my tank is nice and clear again.
