After i did my first water change I noticed some of the sand and crushed coral was sitting on my leather and on my zoos. Is it ok to take my syringe and blow it off?

Not only should you do that, but you should be blowing off your live rock on at least a weekly basis. Go buy a turkey baster from your local grocery store and keep it by the tank. When you use it you will likely see a "snow storm" of stuff coming off the rock. This is ok and good to see. It helps keep decaying organics off the rock and gets them into either the skimmer or sand bed to help break them down.
