That would depend on if you are dosing and which salt you are using but if you are not dosing they can go up. My cal and dkh remains the same after a water change.

What do you mean by dosing? Like in the w/c or dosing in general?
    I use Instant Ocean Salt

if you are supplementing Calcium, Alkalinity and Magnesium on a regular basis in your tank
and you run higher levels than the salt mix your using has, then there could be a drop unless you increase the levels in the new water to match the levels you run in your tank

but having said that, if its a routine water change of the typical 5% - 10% amounts
then the changes would be minimal and on some test kits possibly not measurable IME

But if you where changing a larger amount of water as part of a solution to another problem - then IMO it is always a good idea to match the levels in the new water to the levels in the tank

testing new water, is as important as testing your display tank in situations as described above

My levels actually go up, but only slightly. I'm using the Reef Crystals so it helps to keep my levels up as opposed to the normal salt. Since switching to the Reef Crystals, I have to do a lot less dosing of calcium and Mg to keep my levels in check.

I change brands at every water change. I always have at least 4 different brands on hand in old clean ice cream buckets. I do this because of the difference in %'s of elements from one type to another.

Yeah, they are the same company and no, there is no problem in switching between them, that's what I did.
