Water Change Wait?

    So I'd really like to do a water change today, but I forgot to do a premix, so I just mixed it today. I've read a number of times that you should let it sit/mix for a day before adding it to the tank. So, add or wait?

    I would wait but I don't think a day is necessary, a few hours (I would wait 4 at least but that's just me) to let everything settle and make sure it's fully dissolved and all chemical reactions are complete etc.

    Put a strong powerhead in there mixing it and a few hours has always worked for me.
