water changes & how often - just seeing what everyone else does

    The only reason I do water changes at all is to replenish trace minerals.

    I do ~20 gallons on my 80 gallon system every week or two. (natural sea water)

    55 gallon with fish and corals (see signature)
    about 70 gallons with sump etc...minus rock
    10 gallon W/C about every 10 to 12 days.
    got a bit'o green hair, but I have won the fight with the red slime and I believe the green hair is in its last days. : p GO get'em Clean up crew!!
    Use the "sealab No.28" white cubes regularly in the sump....helps maintain calcium, strontium and other essential trace elements.... works for me. ; )
