    You have to remember as well that if you wet skim that some of the salt ends up in the skimmate. You have to check your salinity with replacing 4 gallons a day.

    4 gallons a day...125 gallon tank......that's close to a 20% WC a week....like the old say'n goes...if it works ..don't fix it. : ) ....I guessssss

    What? No! The only thing evaporation does is remove H2o molecules. It does nothing to remove organics and nasty stuff out of the water, which is what water changes are for.

    Now, as far as the original question goes, I know my tank realizes when I have shed tears of anger and frustration during water changes when I am in a bad mood, lol. :p

    If this were remotely :-X:-X:-X:-X:-X:-X:-X true, then why did the aglae I battled for 6 months not die quicker?!?!!! ::)::)::) Trust me, I hated it with a passion.
