How often should I do a 15-30 water change in my SW ecopico? Should I replace that water with already cycled saltwater or just purified water? I know I should top it off with purified water frequently. :cheesy:

    You'll use fresh-mixed saltwater made with RO/DI.

When you say "15 - 30", is that gallons or percentage of tank capacity? Some start with 10% weekly, others go with 25% monthly. Your tank will let you know if you need to do more or if you can do less.

Hello Andrew and welcome to 3Reef.

As mentioned start out with 10-15% weekly water changes and monitor your test results.

    Please see these articles:

Avoid tap water by using RO water and even better RO/DI. Make the water, add salt, heat it and aerate it and test at least the first batch to ensure you have a good salt mix. Then do your water change.
