I did daily water changes, and changed out jugs weekly. There is no problem, and it is only slightly less efficient that big water changes. Mine was automated though.

One word of caution though... you said you had the "urge" to do another one... then fight it... "you" in your tank all the time is not a good thing. Keep your hands out. And you should only be changing water, if it actually needs to be changed. There is no point in changing out 40% every month if 10% will do. If you are not adding something that is defficient, or removing anything that is already being removed... then why change water? Many don't even do it.

Small daily changes never needed heating... it was too small to make a difference, and room temp was more than sufficient. Another good thing about dailies...

Well keep in mind folks I'm talking about a 10 gallon tank . In my 50 I never did wage changes EVER . my system was stable enough to handle the break down of bad build up on its own .

I know my tanks alot smaller and less forgiving . Just want to make sure if I do a 10% change weekly I'm no over doing it , but I know I'm not so I'll just plug away at it . Ty all

Ya, if you are changing for a micro then no problem. Do it daily if you want. It would be about a cup. Just do it at feeding.
