Water changes.....

Hey yall,

Question about what type of water to use (tap, ro, di, ect.) I have been using RO water from the LFS but I was wondering if you could use like refillable drinking water from Walmart? It's one of those stations where you bring your big blue 5 gallon jug and place it under their nozzle and it will refill it. It's made by Culligan. On the side it says its carbon filtered, RO, UV sterilized, and one other filtering process I forgot. Its about half the price of the LFS. Would this work?

*And spring water is a no no right? Thanks!

 

Last one is probably de-ionization?

it's fine to us it provided they do replace their filters regularily.


spring water has no regulation for purity, the name is a gimmick.
