The Typhoon is $150, the Premium is $169, $19 difference but is still a better deal. First it comes with a TDS-3 handheld TDS meter, next an inline pressure gauge, one of both of those already makes it better. It also comes with the 1 micron prefilter and 0.6 micron carbon standard, you don't have to ask. Now throw in a thermometer and a bypass valve so you can use RO only water. Flush valves are next to worthless but you get one of those too and you can use it for other things.

Yes the Typhoon comes with a tap water valve and an ASOV but those are $4-$12 items. It only makes sense to make them options since there are so many ways to hook up an RO/DI system and they may or may not be needed depending on how you hook things up. Still a better value. AWI wants $25 for a TDS meter, $13 for an inline gauge and $15 for a bypass valve.
