    does water flow affect salenity?

    no it doesnt. basically its just pushing the water you have. evaporation will affect it tho. as water evaporates, the salt doesnt , so it will raise it a touch. but a pure water top off takes care of that. dont top off with salt water.

    nope, just make sure your tank gets topped off preferably in the morning and evening or salinity will rise
