    Hi Guys and Gals

Was wondering how some people have there water go in the fuge, do you drop it
above the water line or have it under the water line, if so how far.

    cheers Rusty

i think he's asking if the water going into a sump/refugium is under water or out of water

my setup is under water so my overflow drains into the first stage of the sump below the water line then over flows into my refugium the overflows into a buble trap then overflows to the return section w/my mag9 return pump

On mine, I have a coast to coast overflow with a bean animal style drain so my full siphon drain goes to the middle chamber, into a sock, slightly below (1/4") the water line. Then the durso drains into the right side chamber (fuge) right below the water line (1/4" also). Then the fuge overflows into the middle chamber, and that overflows into the left chamber, the pump chamber.

I have my drain split and one goes into the fuge through a bulkhead under the waterline. There is then a spray bar in the bulkhead to spread the flow across the whole fuge.

So in a short answer mine is under the water level.
