In my skimmer box, the water level is not dropping properly. It is just staying level with the top of the teeth. I always noticed it drop about 1 inch below the top of the teeth previously. Is there any reason for this or is it anything I should be concerned with? I am just thinking that maybe my waterflow is slower than it should be? I have a Mag7 (no sponge) hard plumbed with a ball-Valve fully open and a union, two 90s and one tee at the output.

No clean and clear.., the funny part is, they were dirty when the water was at the bottom of them, not that it stays at the top they cleared up.

    Hey TA,
Do you think there might be a partial obstruction in the overflow return line? Maybe snail or something. That might slow down the water flow while your return pump is still pumbing the same. Just a thought.

I was thinking about it, and wondering if my Fuge is doing it. The overflow goes down the (pool) looking hose, and then the fuge has a imited amount of area for the water to go to the next chamber... The is a drip plate turned sideways, and then a baffel, then the return pump area. Could that slow down from where the return enters the fuge to the return sump area slow the flow from the return down?

Has the water level in the tank raised any higher since you first noticed this? It seems like the pump is pumping more than the overflow is draining. Did you open your ball valve so there was more return water? It sounds like there is probably a restriction between the overflow and your sump/fuge.

Do you have any pictures of your plumbing? This would help a great deal.

The water level is a little higher then it used to be, but it isnt increasing.. it just stays at that level. Its not the fuge, I took the drain line and stuck it in the same comartment as the return pump and it was still the same. I looked doen the pool hose return line and didnt really see anything.I took the Tee off at the end of the return line, and I think it droped about a 1/4" in the skimmer box. Doesnt it have to balance itself out? If there was a restriction in the return line, wouldnt the drain line just slow down, because it is recieving water at a slower rate? I also opend the union to see if anything was cloged, but there was nothing. I looked through with a flashligh and it looked clear. Ill post some pics.
