I have a 75 gallon tank that will have a 900gph return pump with 2 returns one to each side of the tank, how many koralia 1400 gph pumps would I need? and where should the be located in the tank, in the top directed down or in the middle? or should I use something totally different? I will have some corals I just don't know what kind yet.

    Thank you.

I'd say 2, one on each end. I like mine in the middle pointed directly at each other. This usually causes random chaotic flow, which is what I shoot for.

For your set up currently I would say 1 korilla with your return pump should be enough until you decide what type of corals you are going to go with. thats 32 times turn over rate with that set up. Also your rock and substrate will need to be considered when you decide to put in your korilla and aim it. I have 2 korilla 3's if I remember correctly there about 800 GPH flow (someoe correct me if I am wrong). Mine are on the back glass each side pointing a little down towards the middle. I am trying to push the water off the front glass back into the rocks. I also have a mp40 on the upper left side towards the front blowing towards the other side of the tank.
