    I'm so freaking stoked!!! We set the tank up 6 weeks ago today we left town for a few days and got back tonight and the first thing I did was my weekly Saturday water check.

    Here goes:

    Temp: 79
    Salinity: 1.026
    Calcium: 440
    KH: 161.1
    Phosphate: 0
    Nitrate: 0
    Ammonia: 0 ;D
    PH: 8.2

    We do have an entire back wall that's covered with hair algae:angry:, so guess what I get to do tomorrow!!! AND I have another aiptasia to kill:angry::angry::angry:!!!

    On the upside, everything is alive, the xenia is almost split into two and we have bright red and dark purple coraline algae popping up all over.

    Get after that algae and aptasia. Worth extra effort at start to get rid of.

    All sounds good, you should get a Mag test if your planning on having a reef tank. Some pics would be great right about now(hint-hint). Luna

    My tank is just about the same age, maybe 7/8 weeks now and I have a little cyno problem, just got to increase the flow and suck it out. It will be worth the extra work right now, good luck
