Good Morning every one, perhaps someone can help me out....I can not for the love of god keep my calcium levels stable, last test was 520! I have a 40 gallon sparsley populated aquarium (so i dont think i need to be dosing). Two clowns a zebra damsil and a new royal gramma named prince lol also a few zoas and mushrrooms, a recovering frogspawn and a duncan coral that only comes out when its in the mood lol. I also keep a 27 (L) gallon refugium. I do my bi weekly water changes and nothing seems to help. It gets very frustrating when I go to my friends house and see his beautiful 220 gallon full of life and awesome coral and I cant even manage to keep a few happy!!!!! any help? I had my water tested two days ago and i just got my PH where I need it and every thing else nitrates and etc are good. Help!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would first test a batch of SW prior to adding it to the display to see what the level is of your source water.

Next I would buy your own testing equipment.

Lately I would get levels for Alk and Magnesium.

Thanks for the reply, I have an ATI test but....it sucks to say the least, but a new "better" test kit is on my buying list. Ok I will test my source water tonight and see what I can find. again thanks for the help.
