    test the TDS of your tap water, then decide for yourself if 1 TDS is a big deal.

    Ok....looks like I should use it!

    I think my water reads around 110 out of the tap and I have a well.

    I'd use it but monitor my TDS more closely in the future. Was the 1 TDS straight from the RO/DI or from a storage container? Always test straight from the RO/DI to determine how well the unit is working not from an ATO reservoir or Brute can. It could have salt residue or even dust or pick up CO2 from the air and give you a false reading.

    Test your RO only TDS along with the tap and RO/DI to determine how well the membrane is working, it could be fouling and making the DI do all the work.
