water question

    If I dont have an RO/DI unit or a LFS that sells water, Can I use distilled water from the grocery store?

    yeah, but see make sure it says purified by reverse osmosis, cause i know publix down here sells like 4 different types of water but only one is RO. and it's almost double in $ then what LFS sells it for.

    Absolutely, but it would be alot cheaper to buy a RO/DI...it will save you alot of money in the long run

    You absolutely have to know how the water is distilled before you use it. If it was distilled using copper tubing, you will kill all of the inverts in your tank if you add it.

    Tottaly agree, There's so many distilling practices and companys that claim
    it's "distilled" or purified water , when it fact it can be carrying high levels of hevey metals .

    When in doubt ,don't do it ! And buy a decent ro/di unit ASAP,
