    I am looking at getting a spectrapure litermeter 3 while they are on sale right now. My question is, I have a oddly shaped area under the tank for storage. I am looking at maybe using some type of plastic tub, like something from walmart or something to hold the water. Is there anything that could go wrong here? Any chemical reactions or anything goofy that might occur?

    I think you would be ok. When I first started I used some of the storage totes for mixing my water and never had problems.
