Lol ya umm I turned my heater down to like 72 and my temp is still sitting at a constant 78-6-77.8. Its not in direct sunlight. Ive turned the fuge light off to run at 12 hour intervals instead of 24. Its still the same at night when all lights are off. I dont get it whats going on. I want my temp at 77.8 constant. I know thats not a bad temp right now since its not to high or to low, im just tryign to cut down on my slime which is working but I guess since its hot then i may need a chiller.

I'd take this temp lol. Mine goes to 82 on a hot day. Now I use a fan with a timer until I can afford a chiller. Maybe a ziplock baggy with ice cubes.

80-84 is gonna be suitable for what your holding in your tank. But if mine stayed constant at about 84 degrees. Id be saying "Bye Bye" to all my sps:-/

Lps can tolerate a higher temp compared to sps. Thats a downside on keeping

What temp is your house? You could try turning the AC down a bit.

Luckily, my tank is in the basement so it stays cool down here. My tank temp has never been above 80.
