    Okay -
I have had my 75G running since 1/30.

I tested on 2/11/06 and my results were this:

    PH 8.3
    Ammonia - 0
    Nitrite - .25
    Nitrate - 0

    and on 2/19

    PH 8.4+
    Ammonia - .25
    Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - >5 (Looks like 0, but a little towards the 5.0 mark)

My question is - does this look like things are moving along? Should I buffer the water to get the PH more stable? It looks hight - almost a bit more than 8.4

Will I see any other changes happening?

I am thinking it is right now.. does this looks like its where it should be?
Should I do anything else like throw a cocktail shrimp in there?
    Should I buffer the PH?

He is still seeing ammonia. It's still cycling. Plus unless I miss-read it it was set up on 1/30. It's under a month old. :)

Also- Is the time frame different for fish and corals. I'm pretty much planning on going with beginner rated additions for 6- 12 months.

I just started all over again with RO water. My first try 10 days ago was with softened well water. My KH was through the roof. All is perfect now. I only have the sand in. I'm waiting for Live rock from premium aquatics. They didn't have enough cured.
