I have a reef tank for 6 years. Always used DI water. The only problem that I have is some of my SPS want grow and after some time die. It is when I buy 2 frags 1 die. You think that is the reason? DI not ROdi? just so you know ,just purchased RODI...

It takes more than just RO/DI water to grow sps. Do you have a tds meter? if so your water should read 0. What are your parameters? SPS need a lot of light. so, what type of lighting do you have and what size tank?

    Important factors for sps are:
Stability, Kh, PO4, Nitrate, Calcium, Mag... Those all really need to be kept in a pretty close margin around SPS acceptable range to thrive. Post some tank parameters and lighting as mentioned above.
