Watery skimate to dryer skimate help.

How do you make the Aqua Medic Turboflotor Multi SL Protein Skimmer make a dryer skimate instead of a watery skimate? Thanks for the help.

 

just lower the bubble line in the skimmer

oh well i don't exactly know how your skimmer works but there should be some sort of valve or tube or something that will restrict how much water flows through the skimmer. now opening the valve will let more water flow out thus dropping the bubble line and vice versa so if u close the valve you are trapping more water in the skimmer and thus raising the amount of water retained in it(bubble line will raise).

ok i found your manual there is a knob labeled number 8 in the manual just turn that back and forth slowly and when u see the water line drop a little bit leave it and see if u are happy w/ it if not keep going lower
