    so i have one 15 watt flourescent light on my ten gallon tank thats five weeks old. I have a clean up crew in their and thats it. I was wondering what lighting is needed to host a BTA and two false perculas in my tank??? Oh and with this small of a tank would i need a powerhead???

    I had a powerhead in my 5.5 gal....

    I would think you would be ok with a 65w PC.

    I have two small BTA's and a pair of percs in my 12 gallon NanoCube with only 24 watts of light. But that is really riding a fine line of being "minimal" - BTA's live, but really can't say they "thrive"...have not grown a bit since being in there about a year now.:-/

    A little light goes a long way in a Nano. Don't want to cook your tank residents, unless you want to keep SPS or clams...

    I also kept a bta in my 12 gal nano cube with 48 watts of pc's...

    Re: your powerhead question, yes, I would put a powerhead in your 10 gallon. Flow is important for any aquatic life.
