yea thats what i want for sure your coral and everything looks great, you have MP40's?? what would you recommend in my tank?? the MP20's? or the MP10's?

 

A lot of websites sell the kits they look like this when modded...
I think marine depot sells em. Just search for maxijet mod or maxijet eco mod.

I have just one mp40. I would guess either an mp20 or 2 mp10s. Since I got the mp 40 I use the maxi jets just for mixing salt lol a little over kill but it works.

I will have to do that! Thanks for the help, now one last question kind of off topic but how long should i keep my lights on?? i have a 3 stage timer in my light and the 10k's turn on about 8am, then actinics on at noon, then 10k's are off at 5, and actinics are off at 9 then led's kick on till like 3 am or something like that... is that to much?? b/c when my LED's kick on everything closes up, is that normal?

 

That I'm not to sure on what is recommended... I have been playing with mine for a while trying to figure out what works best I know most people have actinics come on and run longer then the day lights. I think mine blues are on 11 hrs and day lights are on for 5 hrs. My blues aren't actinics though they are ati blue plus which have a fairly high par value. Now that I think about it I should probably shorten that...what kind of fixture are you running.

i have the Aquatic life 6 lamp t-5HO with 4 10k's and 2 actinics, i got it about 3 months ago and once my LED's kick on everything seems to go into hiding, and thats the best time to look at everything "IMO"

Hrmmm normally at night is when you should get the crazy polyp extension I lab my moonlights on all night normally but they go out when it stats getting daylight out.

Not that I can think of really. You have your day lights go out with actinics still on for a while then have mon lights come on before the actinics go out then actinics go out?

well my actinics go out and then right after my led's turn on... maybe there shocked b/c theres a few seconds of darkness?? ill try that right now..
