wave makers and what should i look for

im looking for a good wave maker set for a 40 gallon breeder reef set up what should i be looking for and what is everyones opion of what is the best

was looking at this Amazon.com: Hydor Smart Wave Pump Controller, 100 Watt: Pet Supplies
with a couple of decent 600-1000 gph units

or this Amazon.com: JBJ Oceanstream Circulation Pump/Powerhead + Duo Wavemaker Kit 500 gph: Pet Supplies

what do you think or is there better units out there for the price

Is have not he a chance to buy this wave maker yet I hope to have the money soon. but look this up on YouTube I have a hard time finding anything bad

thats a steep price im trying to go cheeper right now i need to some how justify it to my wife. i know i can justify somthing 50-150 maybe but 250 mmm well that would= me sleeping on hard wood floor

 

anyone have a suggestion?

You can get a JBJ kit for $80-135: JBJ Oceanstream Circulation Pump/Powerhead + Duo Wavemaker Kit

Through Big Al's you can get Koralia 1050's for $26 right now. If you get a controller for the tank, that would do the wavemaker itself. Otherwise you can get a Hydor Wavemaker for $60-65.
