    Need help making a decision.
I am thinking about getting the tunze 6206 because i like the more natural ocean like movement and its been proven to work. (thus the reason why I am not going with a vortech..plus its more thrn i can afford)

or should I wait till taam rio wave pump comes out? TAAM Inc., Aquarium Products

Supposedly the Taam Rio will be more affordable ( rumors around $100ish )

    What would you do?

I'd get a reef Angel controller and use that. I'm getting great water movement on a wavemaker function with a couple Sicce pumps that I'm not going to switch to VorTech now. Its given me great alternating and random flow.

The TAAM look decent enough other than sticking out like a normal PH. I'd like to see it in action.

Surprising considering how proud you are of those lights. I'd want the communication ability between light and pump if nothing else.

Yeah I know, but saving $800 is nice too. I HAD to have lights, the flow situation seems pretty good right now!

LOL! HAD to. :laughcry: Could of bought a hell of a lot of bulbs, and a complete halide or T5 set up for 21 bills.

I guess I had to go all LED too then.:thumbs_up

I guess if that's what the wife believes then so be it. :)

OP sorry for the minor jack of your thread. If ever you get the TAAM please post a detailed video of it in action. Any word on release?

No worries, I am constantly searching the net to find out release dates. I think I am going to email the company and ask them :)

If the release date is within the near future I will definitely post a video. If not I will let you guys know what I think about the tunze 6206 :)

what about the Hydor Koralia Smartwave Pump Timer. Pumps are cheap and the timer (wave maker) is only about $60.00
