    I don't see the need for a wavemaker , the sea max comes with Twin circulation pumps which you can control the direction..

    Thats true the red sea does come with two pumps but theres still alot of dead spots within the tank. And to be perfectly honest I just really like the look of a wavemaker.

    And thanks vinny, that one does seem better.

    I've been using the smart wave by Hydor for a couple of months now, paired with 2 Evo 550s, and I've had no issues whatsoever.
