Waving Hand coral...

My friend has a one and its not doing to well. Anyways, he is going to give it to me and see if I can't help it. I just wanted to know if there is anything you can do to help it. I want it to look like it did when he bought it. It really was very pretty.

Edit: I also read that you need to put them low in the tank can I put it in the sand or will my inverts mess with it too much. I have a massive CUC.

 

Just an update. When I got it there was only like 4 heads or "hands" left. They are doing good and I have a very small hand growing below the main frag. I don't know if it was there when I got it or if it is starting to spread.

 

I hope you really like that coral because if you're able to bring it back from the brink, you're going to have a heck of a lot of it in no time

Yeah they are ok I have such a big tank that I can't afford to pack it full of corals that I want to. So, I have to take what I can get it was free so I'm not complaining
