    We're going to be setting everything up today. What kind of heater are others running on these things? We found a Hydor mini for 12 bucks but dont know how effective it would be.

    We went out and bought a few more things and got the tank set up today. We ended up using the factory light and filtration but added a Hydor mini heater which works great and is pretty much invisible and a Hagen 58gph pump to add a little more flow. Also has 5lbs of live sand and we scored 10lbs of Florida live rock for $20! Here's what it looks like so far :cheesy:

    looking good S10lowrider , there are a few threads on the go now with these pico/ nano reefs

    Im using a 25 watt heater in 5 gallons , but I am in a part of the world that lacks any serious winter issues and tank only drops to 23 at night even without a heater
