Web in my tank?

    I came home to find what looks like a web in my qt, ever seen this before?

    99% chance it's just a vermetid snail. They send out mucus nets that are sticky, let particulate matter collect in it, then they reel it in and eat the food stuck to the web.

    They are usually hitchhikers in your LR

    They are stationary and secrete a hard tube as a home. I agree with Inwall on vermitid snail. They are a very common hitchhiker on live rock and frags.

    its virtually impossible to know all the hitchhikers in your tank. you probably have small crabs shrimp snails worms and what not.
