I have a project i have been toying with (in the planning stage) I work with controls and I was wanting to build a frame that could sit on top of the tank with a series of cables and pullies. Kinda like the cameras you see at pro football games that can move anywhere over the field via a cable/pully system. With the addition of a height control. It would be cool to get one of those mini-underwater cameras and connect it to this system and stream it with full control... the ability to log in on the web and click buttons to move the camera around the tank as if you were diving. I know it is a big dream but in all actuallity it would be fairly simple given the fact that I have access to this kind of equipment. I just don't know if I want to spend time on this project because it may get in the way more than I would use it.

I think that's a great idea. If I had access to that kind of equipment I would give it a go

IF... I do go for the project... I probably won't leave it on there for long, just put it on once in a while and give some people a link. But that is a big IF. I am always coming up with ideas but never have time to build them or complete them. I have a room full of projects that I started and never finished.
