    This weekend I built a fuge with an extra five gallon tank I have. What do you think hoping to get cheato next weekend.

    The wattage sounds good but is it possible to grow macro alage with only 6000k? I only ask because I tried growing it in my hang on the back filter with absolutely no growth in months. I was using a standard incandescent which I beleive is a 6000k bulb.

    Just make sure that the bulbs are daylight and are between 5500-7100k.
