    i got like black algae growin only a little bit of it and its liek big lumps of it i riped it off of my rocks but there some i cant get anywon now hwat it is is it bad guy or good guy?

    Sounds like black turf algae. People use it in turf algae scrubber filters. I had it too and hated how it looked.

    The darker the algae, the more nutrients are in the water.
