Weird alien type thing help

    Ok guys- thigs found whilefishing forbristle worm (the big onee that may be a fire worm)
    First up this werd white ball - smaller than a finger nail

    next a shrimp thing - now looks like i have a few of these - any idea wht breed/species they are:
    pictures aren't great as this things tiny!!

    White thing I have no clue but 2nd thing is an amphipod very good to have and good food for fishes.

    Pineapple sponge, I think they are Scyphoids and an amphipod. You definitely want the pods--they feed fish and maybe some corals and also indicate that things are going well chemically. The sponges can pop up everywhere which means you have some silicates. Are you cycling because that would be normal--the sponges should outcompete the diatoms during this phase and reduce the brown film that grows on stuff. I still have a few but most have gone away now. I have a few other big sponges that seem to have won the silicate battle.

    yeah live rock went in on fri - all seems well- no trace of any nasty algae yet!

    the white *****ly pair thing is a sponge there good filter feeders they came and went in my tank but they are still in my filtration witch is good the seconed is a pod good for the tank as well to me those are signs of a tank doing well
