So I heard some splashing in my sump, and figure I had a cracked fitting on my return line. Vibration caused my union to loosen up. I tightened it and no more issues. I would never have imagined lol.

Kicker is my sump was runing really low from the backpressure and I didn't even know. I had to top off 3 gallons.

Sump level is a big lightbulb moment for me now. I remember one day topping up, the very next night, I needed to add another 2 pails of water ... which is weird because I usually only need a pail every few days.

It was summer though ... and thinking nothing of it ... I went to work.

When I came home that night I had wet feet ... a seal was leaking on my dart, and the water hadn't soaked far enough from the tank for me to feel it the night before.

The low sump level should have thrown up flags ... but I learned a valuable lesson that day. When something is out of the ordinary ... time to investigate lol.

Glad it was such an easy fix for you this time!

Nice, I'm using a silicone trivet which makes it perfectly silent too. I would always reccomend these to people.

Damn...and I thought I was a genius for thinking of that for my closed loop pump. Back down to Earth I come.
