weird lilttle shrimp?

    well, i was moving my powerhead around to see what flow setup i can do and i saw this weird little shrimp thing hiding behind it. its maybe no bigger then 1/16th. its like transparent in color, looks to have 2 antini, and some legs. i took a pic(as best as its gonna get) what do you guys think it is(probly a hitch hike on some live rock) is it something to keep in the tank or take it out

    you can see it right on the red connector plastic between the powerhead and its base

    any ideas??

    I believe that is an amphipod or isopod. Fish food.

    could be more....look at night w/lights off..use a red filter over a flashlight

    but its not something tobe super worried about? cant cause harm to the tank?

    No they are fish food....you want them but usally unless your tank is very mature they will not last long enough to multiply as they get ate to fast

    man at night i got a ton. I like to turn off the powerhead at night and feed them real good.

    my tank is 10 months old and I had a few...all gone now....between the green chromis and clown and firefish they ate them

    Ive got something like that too in my tank but it appears stationary its not in a good spot for a picture but hasnt moved for days
