This type of flatworm in non-photosynthetic and feeds solely on copepods

So now the next question is, do you treat for it? If you have one, you have many......or so I would venture to speculate. Now, I have seen products out there that purport to ridding the world (several gallons at a time) of flatworms. Does this mean that we do this here? Seems to me like you would want to.....since copepods should be kept for fishies......just throwing it out there......as I believe the post was a two question deal.

These are not dangerous like aceol flatworms. Their population is kept in check with the number of copepods you have.

I personally would do nothing. A magnet glass cleaner kills more copepods than these flatworms ever could.

Now and then I have one craw up the glass, easy to remove with a turkey baster..
The red ones are the bad ones, and I think these eat the red ones..
Or so I read.. For awhile I was getting 4 or 5 aweek out.. Now maybe 1 every 3 or 4 weeks.. Use a turkey baster, give some time.. And see if they don't almost go away..
When I first found one, I said... O good, baby snails.. !! LOL

Thanks guys for all the answers !
Looks like it is an Amphiscolop after all ! After further reading they are harmless to my reef tank.
That was the only one that I saw in there, and it was indeed in a location that was FULL of copecods (hundreds of them). I haven't seen it since then, I did however find a featherduster and a bristleworm in my tank (on my search for more Aiptasia) :p :)
