weird orange dot

    so I turned on the actinics for a few minutes today, and noticed some asterina stars crawling on a small rock with alot of black purple coralline. After a star had barely touched the edge a little round spot it glowed neon orange for 3 minutes and then went back to white/green?? what the hell is this? I will try to get a picture, but dont know if it will happen again. Another person saw it as it happened as did I. anyone?:confused:
