Weird red algae in sump?

    I have this weird red algae in my sump. Anyone know what it is?

    sorry for the crappy pics.. it is growing in a weird spot.

    not really. Its a darker red and more branchy I think

    Then try going to Saltcorner.com and looking through the algae library section. If you get desperate and can not get an ID try John at ReefCleaners.

    Looks like it might be red bubble algae, Botrocladia I think is the genus name.

    or.. should i get rid of it. I googled it and it looks like some people actually grow it. Is it a nuisance algae or no? It seems to be isolated to just my sump where there isnt much flow.
