Everything is still here. It just might be in a new place.

As far as to the impact of this upgrade a couple months from now, it will be very positive. The search engine is beefed up substantially (and it's QUICK). The most important thing people were looking for is a longer list of new posts and/or a new post button. Well, Matt said he's already going to work on that.

Well, the home page still has the bluish/gray button with a down arrow that takes you to the latest post you looked at on the thread and still has the bluish/gray button with the right arrow that takes you to the last post on the thread. Regardless, once you click on the thread, you have the traditional 1,2,3, last options.

Thanks man. For all that ask - I will adjust homepage. I HEAR you. :)
I will begin tomorrow. I am in no condition to do it now.

So much for my condition. I think it is permanent. I have made a change to the homepage without breaking anything. I hope you like it. I showed more threads (all the orig) and put these links in.

    >> New Posts >> Get Daily >> Show Less Threads

Well.. today was a big one. I gotta lay down.

EDIT - I will work on 'classic' skin look on homepage too - something is not loading - and other stuff I am seeing now.. I'll keep polishing.

Eh.. Although I appreciate the effort in such a large overhaul of the system I'm not really digging the new layout (yet).

First and formost I'm on maybe a dozen forums (not all fish related) and am VERY comfortable with the way vbulletin has things set up. I actually subconciously stay away from non-vb sites just for lack of familiaraity. This is why I preferred this site (been a lurker for 2 years now) over other sites in this genre of hobby.

My second gripe is the spacing of texts on the posts (as someone else has mentioned). I'm not a highschool English teacher and have no need to be reading double spaced paragraphs.

Third on the list is that I do a TON of surfing on my iPhone while at work (during down time). If you have an iPhone you know that there's no flash plugin available yet.. Whch means I can't press the top banner for navigation..

There's no "new posts" button. The "show more threads" button works but it is very cumbersome to read it the way it's laid out. If it's a skin issue then the default skin should be the most use friendly.

The google search could have been implemented without a total redo. Now I can't find the vbulletin search function if I wanted to search by username, titles only, etc

I beleive that's it for now...

Some of the buttons you mentioned have returned tonight.

I was unaware of the double spacing in the forums. I fixed that.

I will continue to work on it ...
