    Matt,

I hope you or anyone else didn't construe any comment I made as a negative criticism. I also know how much works goes into an upgrade like this and I truly come to 3reef more than any other forum because of the people here. This site and your work is very appreciated.

Change is a good thing and in time, we will get used to the new look. I have often heard you quoted "go slow and let it grown" then BAM, something gets changed on us and it will take us old-timers a while to get used to it. LOL!

Glad to hear that the recent threads will stay expanded! Thank you!!!!

You know I wanted that on there and somehow it didn't work on first pass when I started playing with it. I will revisit and get it back up.

    Thanks all!

Very impressive work Matt! I enjoy being able to change the colors and all the new features are awesome, My only issue right now is the right side of the site where the forums and panel are, It hurts my eyes a bit to see the links if not using the white background. :) Would be o so awesome of you to make a table around that!

Thanks again for all your hard work!

I can appreciate this Matt putting all the time and work into making this site better than what it is. Which would be a really hard task.

It is ambitious and a gamble at the same time. So k+.

Like I said its a gamble...... Im not in favor of certain aspects in the new changes. I do like the idea of the search engine upgrades. Being able to see subscriptions, other options on a side toolbar,

I feel like Im the only one on the site. The homepage from before was USER FRIENDLY. You were able to see who was online. Keep on top of threads that are in chronological order with latest posts. Id hardly ever search through the forums... I was always going off the home page. Easier to communicate with others posting cause you knew their were on and would reply.

Sadly I feel like I have to sit down and concentrate here on 3reef. Cant just pop on to see whats goin on.

Home page from old 3reef needs to return Matt. It'd be like McDonalds getting rid of their Big Mac's.

Overall, great new feautures. No home page and the usefulness of the old homepage has me lost with no map.

Hopefully you can add a home page feuture like the "old" 3reef.

Thanks Matt to your dedication to 3reef... keeping us reefers in an elite community to share experiences, ideas, and thoughts.

    Patrick

    Patrick,

You can still see who is online. Click on forums and then hit the "end" key or scroll to the bottom. You can see who is online right now and who has been online today.

I'm with some of the others. One of the things I liked best about 3reef was the home page of recent posts. I know how to see those but it's harder to read and harder to get to.

I also haven't figured out how to find my old posts. I used to be able to find them under statistics. Haven't found it with the new layout yet.

Change always takes time to get used to but the old layout was like the old comfy familiar chair. The new layout is like a brand new chair. Looks nice but isn't comfortable yet. Maybe it just needs to be broken in.
