Well I bought a chiller!

Well After my last experience with my temp making it up to 93 and the loss of 3 of my corals I finally broke down and bought a chiller! Man I didn't want to spend the money on it but this was the 2nd time this happened so I just had to bite the bullet and get it.
It is a 1/4 hp West Coast Aquatics Chiller ( Good ? Bad ? what do you think ? ) here is a picture. now I just have to wait for it to get here. ....................... John

 

sounds good how much did it cost?

 

I don't know much about them myself, but I am interested in hearing about your experience with it. I am curious about how loud it is, what impact it has on your power bill, etc. I think I would like to get a chiller as well, but these are a couple of the things I am interested in knowing. Please keep us all posted.

I have done quite a bit of research and this is one of the better brands on the market from what I have read. You got a good size one to. Thats the model for up to about 250 gallons right?

I don't either I got it for about 1/2 that. It is 2 years old I bought it used ................... John
