We did decent- maybe 20-25 kids, in groups with parents drinking beer (we're kinda suburban-rural, dirt road, but an old lake cottage sub). My husband did the Jason mask and cordless saw and hid behind the trees, jumping out and scaring the bee-jezus outta them- the loudest screamers were the boys! We gave out candy for about an hour, then called it quits. But this is my favorite costume:

Fortunately, we know most of them! We're a little ways off the beaten path, so people don't come in from outside the neighborhood- or I could be getting Bill outta jail today!

That's good. We had a few houses that were decked out. Mine was one. I really have a good time with Halloween. It's much more fun than Christmas. I am still trying to figure out if that is good or bad;) ;D

Dress them up as Damien from the Omen. Knock on the door. Then just have them stare at 'em without smiling. That should cement your relationship for a lifetime!!!!!

we had around 300+ here it was nuts, Wife and I had to go in shifts so we could take our daughter out. The temp was around 50+ so I guess thats why we had a big turnout last year we had around 100 but it was like 30 out with high winds so you froze your but off.
