    I use a cleaned out Salt bucket sitting on the floor the water line runs along the floor and into the sump (20G tall ) . The top up hose is clamped to the rim of the sump. The only time I had a mess on the floor was when I knocked the hose off and didn't notice for about 15 hours.
    But if you don't own a wet vac in this hobbie you must be single :)
