I need to learn the Macro settings then i can get some better stuff out.

What are these fingers? I see you listed names up top, but not sure which is which. These look really neat.

    First ,,
    Thank you everyone

    My lighting is one 20k 175watt XM Metalhalide and 4 x 39watt T5 460's(blue)

The picture are with the XM only. Ill post better ones once i Figure my camera out. First time taking tank pics;D

    Second ,,
Tank is 3years and two months as of December,11th 2008'

The fingers or coral you like is Montipora(Indigo ).

As you can see it has morphed (mimics the German Blue in spots now)as it has matured into different colonies while while being under various water flow through out the tank.

Under 20k its a bluish purple and with atinics its almost solid blue with bright polyps. 10k light makes it very purple with blue tips after being under 20k's. I never knew corals changed so much until i started growing one.

This stuff will grow anywhere i have put it. It started as One small Piece this size.

Amazing ,, how a single coral has many faces .

I simply made new frags about a 1/4" in size every week for the first two months. Now 3years down the road they drop fingers and produce like in the wild.

These are fragile and you can see where i had to cut back the coral . It Was above the water line. I had to frag my best colony which was 18"wide by 10"high. It fully covered the soft leather at one point in time.
