i added 2 cleaner shrimp & 2 tank bred clowns yesterday.
    i acclimated them for 2hrs
and left the light off for the rest of the day.

well today 1 of my cleaner shrimp has molted.is that good??
shall i just leave the shell they have molted in there? or get it out?

and my 2 clowns are swimming at the top right behind my powerhead is this normal??

    Congrats!!!

Yes, leave the molt in. It will help replenish the iodine.

    congrats on the new additions!

clowns are definitely goofy....i got scared to death the first morning i came downstairs after putting them in the tank the day before.

They both were sort of half swimming in place - in a horizontal position near the top of the tank behind my powerhead. I thought i had managed to kill them overnight. That is how mine "sleep". They also host the HEATER of all things.

However that is about to change in the next few weeks when the heater goes down into my soon to be built sump.

    enjoy your stuff!
